App Dashboard (Mobile Experience)
The App Dashboard is tailored specifically for smartphones and tablets. It provides ultra-fast one-handed navigation, instant transaction recording, offline balance viewing, and biometric security based on our comprehensive 5-part specification.
1. Header & Quick Actions
• Brand & User Identity: Displays the app title (RaCash) with an active live status dot and the authenticated user's name (e.g. MD Rahad Abbas).
• Top Utility Bar: Quick-action buttons including Reminders/Alarm, Calculator/CalcNotes, Notification bell, Wallet switch, and Profile avatar with user initials.
• Quick Entry Bar: Two prominent pill buttons at the top: ⚡ Quick Add Expenses (Soft red highlight) to log expenses in seconds, and ⚡ Quick Add Earnings (Soft green highlight) to log income immediately.
2. Main Navigation Feature Grid (3x3)
A nine-tile action launcher grouped by core features with pastel background tints and icons:
↑ Expense: Manage and log detailed operational & personal costs.
↓ Earning: Manage incoming revenue, salary, or client payments.
🤝 Lend: Track debt, money given/received from others, and partial repayments.
💳 Wallet: Manage multiple payment sources (Cash, bKash, Nagad, Bank accounts).

3. Financial Overview (Interactive Summary)
• Toggle Segment: Switch between Expense (active red fill) and Earning (active green fill). Recalculates all figures across the 4 summary cards below.
• Metric Cards (2x2 Grid): This week (weekly total e.g. ৳ 70.00), This month (current monthly total e.g. ৳ 35.00), This year (year-to-date total e.g. ৳ 70.00), and All time (cumulative lifetime balance e.g. ৳ 70.00).
4. Cash Flow Analytics (Interactive Bar Chart)
• Header & Controls: Title "Cash Flow Analytics" with "Monthly Breakdown" and a Year dropdown selector (default: current year e.g. 2026).
• 12-Month Bar Chart: Grouped monthly bar chart across Jan–Dec with Green for Earnings and Red for Expenses. Empty bars indicate zero transactions recorded.
5. Recent Transactions Feed
• Section Title: "Recent Transactions" with a right-aligned "See all" tap link.
• List Items: Display transaction label/note, transaction type indicator, date stamp, and right-aligned amount with dynamic coloring (+ in green for credits/inflows; - in red for debits/outflows).
Web Dashboard (Desktop & Tablet Control Room)
The Web Dashboard serves as the central command cockpit for comprehensive financial management. It unites high-level multi-wallet balances, 12-month visual trends, dynamic summary cards, monthly flow health indicators, and printable reports on a single unified canvas.
1. Header Area
• Greeting: Dynamic time-aware greeting (e.g., "Good evening 👋", "Good morning 👋", "Good afternoon 👋") paired with the localized current date (e.g., "Wednesday, 2 Sep 2026").
• Action Button: Top-right Reports button linking directly to the comprehensive reporting section.
2. Overview Bar Chart (Monthly Overview)
• Chart Type: Dual-bar or grouped monthly bar chart across 12 full months (Jan – Dec).
• Color Code:
- Green: Earnings / Income bars.
- Red: Expenses spending bars.
• Controls:
- A Year Selector dropdown in the top-right corner of the card (e.g., 2026) to dynamically reload data for the selected year.
- Interactive Legend showing active categories (Earnings vs. Expenses) with hover value chips.
3. Dynamic Summary Section (Summary Cards)
• Toggle Controls: Top-right pill buttons switching between Expenses and Earnings.
• Interactivity:
- Clicking Expenses updates the title to "Expense Summary" and populates the 4 cards below with expense totals.
- Clicking Earnings updates the title to "Earnings Summary" and dynamically swaps the 4 cards with income totals.
